Cougar Foundation Senior Scholarship

The Cougar Foundation Scholarship will provide a $1200 scholarship to a qualified Sahuaro senior applicant.

Qualification/Eligibility

  • US Citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
  • Cumulative GPA:  2.5 – 3.49
  • High School Senior who will enroll at a U.S. accredited two or four-year college, university or institution of higher learning full time.
  • Have demonstrated leadership abilities through participating in community service, extracurricular or other service-based activities.
  • Have strong motivation to continue their education

At least one of the recommendations must be from a faculty member who has taught the student in the classroom. Both recommendations must include the reference’s name, address, telephone number, and information regarding how long and in what capacity he or she has known the applicant and a narrative describing the writer’s perception of the ability of the student to succeed in their post-high school endeavor as well as insight regarding the candidate’s integrity.

What people, things, and accomplishments do you envision? How does this scholarship fit into your plans to help make that future?
