Diane Small Perseverance Scholarship

A $1000 scholarship awarded to a deserving Sahuaro Senior who was raised in a single-parent household for at least a portion of their childhood.

Award Applicant Qualifications:

• Applicant must have been raised in a single-parent household for at least a portion of their childhood.
• Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher at the time of application.
• Applicants must submit a 500-750 word essay discussing the following:
  • [a] How going to College fits their long-term goals;
  • [b] Most impactful memories with their parent(s);
  • [c] What was the most challenging struggle to overcome.
