Cougar Pride $2500 Senior Scholarships

The Cougar Pride $2500 scholarships are awarded to seniors who plan to enroll in college and who have participated in one or more sports representing Sahuaro. Consideration will also be given to applicants who have overcome hardships in order to achieve academic and athletic success. Two awards are available for $2500 each.

Letters of recommendation

One of the recommendations must come from a teacher, and one from a coach. Both recommendations must include the reference’s name, address, telephone number, and information regarding how long and in what capacity he or she has known the applicant and a narrative describing the writer’s perception of the ability of the student to succeed in their post-high school endeavor as well as insight regarding the candidate’s integrity.
