Adam Kaye, Class of 1987, Author and Professor of Pharmacy Practice

Adam Kaye is a 1987 graduate of Sahuaro High School. Adam graduated from Pima and then the University of Arizona from 1989-1992. Adam then went on to attend the University of the Pacific Thomas J Long School of Pharmacy where he has remained as a Professor of Pharmacy Practice from 1999 to present. He also continues to work as a hospital pharmacist at Stanislaus Surgical Hospital in Stockton California.

Adam has been involved with the writing of seven or more articles for Pharmaceutical books and over 200 peer reviewed papers. He has been invited as a guest lecturer for the National Pharmacology conventions several times where he has presented on many topics including “Opioid Pharmacology Interaction and side effects”, ” Controlled Substance Pharmacology: Non-opiod, sedatives and hypnotics – the relevance to pain physicians.” He also serves as an expert witness in regards to the management of chronic pain conditions. Adam continues to make contributions to many local and national organizations in regards to pharmacological issues.

Adam is a nationally and internationally recognized expert and leader in the world of pharmacology. Adam’s wife, Beth, is his rock and support in all his endeavors. They have a daughter, Jessica who follows in her father’s footsteps in the Profession of Pharmacology.
