After exploring his interest in law at Sahuaro through its Mock Trial Club, Casey graduated from Arizona State University summa cum laude in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. He then attended the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona. While attending the U of A, he clerked for Senator John Kyl in Washington, D.C, and worked at both the Pima County Attorney’s Office and the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Casey graduated from law school in 2003 and clerked for Judge Christopher Browning of the Superior Court. From 2004-2013, Casey served as a Deputy County Attorney, where he prosecuted over 50 felony jury trials.
Casey is married to Laura and they have a 15 month old son, Fletcher.
